And Psalm 69, verses 6 to 8 Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, O Lord GOD of hosts. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel. Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face. I have become a stranger to my brothers “and sisters,” an alien…so far.
And verse 9 read starting from: The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
And verses 19 to 22 You know my “struggle and” reproach, my “heart and” shame, and my dishonor.
